What does pricing look like?
Monitoring follows the published monthly per-site Edge tiers; the services page has the full card. Edge Essential ($695) includes no engineering hours: changes bill at $225 per hour with a 30-minute minimum. Secure ($1,295) and Compliance ($1,795) include hours and faster business-hours response; Compliance adds firewall policy reviews. Multi-Site ($2,495 for the first site plus $995 per additional site) covers two or more locations under one plan. 12-, 24- or 36-month term; give notice in the first 90 days and leave 30 days later with no early-termination fee. Exact numbers come out of the assessment or a conversation.
Can we start with monitoring only, then add services?
Yes. Monitoring is the lightest way in: start there, see how we work, and expand to full managed operations (firewall management, change execution, project work) as needs surface. Edge Essential, the entry plan, includes next-business-day response, configuration backups and a monthly summary.
Will this work with our existing MSP / IT team?
Yes. Monitoring fits alongside an existing internal IT team or general MSP. We watch the network, alert on issues, and route to the right responder — sometimes that’s your team, sometimes that’s us, depending on the contract. Communication paths are defined up front so nobody steps on each other during incidents.
What if we already have a monitoring tool?
If your current tool is sound, we keep it and put alert routing and senior engineer response on top. We’ve operated networks instrumented with PRTG, Auvik, SolarWinds, ManageEngine, Datadog, and others. If the tool itself is the problem, we say so and lay out a migration path with a price.
How are alerts actually routed?
Configurable per environment. Alerts reach your channel and ours at the same time; Severity-1 alerts also go to a senior engineer’s phone, and optionally to your designated contacts by phone. Severity-2/3 alerts route to email or chat (Slack, Teams) per your preference. Maintenance windows suppress non-critical alerts. Outside business hours alerts keep flowing to you and to us; emergency work is billed at the after-hours emergency rate when an authorized contact asks and we accept, subject to engineer availability. The end goal: actionable alerts reach humans fast, low-priority noise gets summarized in a daily digest.
What does “senior engineer alert routing” really mean?
A Cisco-certified, Fortinet-certified senior network engineer handles our alerts, not a first-level NOC technician reading a runbook. Alerts reach your channel and ours at the same time, 24/7; that engineer investigates during business hours, next business day on Essential and same business day on Secure.
What is a managed network monitoring service?
A managed network monitoring service checks every firewall, switch, Wi-Fi access point and internet link using automated checks and sends a person the alert when something fails or degrades. Ours is automated, with a senior engineer responding during business hours. It includes alert tuning, configuration backup with change history, live dashboards and a monthly report.
