Fortinet Engage Advocate Partner, Integrator

Fortinet MSP · Multi-Site Specialty

The Fortinet MSP for organizations
running 2+ sites on FortiGate.

We run the part of IT that connects your offices: the firewall at every site, the switches and Wi-Fi behind it, the links between locations, and remote access. We do not carry Fortinet as one vendor among several. We standardize on it, so every site is built the same way and the whole fleet runs from one console to one standard. Edge Multi-Site plan: $2,495 per month for the first site, $995 per additional site. Start with a Network Risk Assessment from $3,500. Fortinet Engage Advocate Partner. Serving multi-site organizations from California to nationwide.

Track Record

The numbers behind the outcomes.

We only do networks: firewall, switches, Wi-Fi, links between offices, remote access. Nothing else. That is why the outcomes are different.

Engineering
20+

Years of network-only practice. Architecture, security, and operations — not IT generalism.

Delivery
300+

Sites delivered. Healthcare clinics, law offices, financial branches, multi-site operations.

Availability
99.99%

Design target for fully redundant builds with HA firewalls, diverse ISPs, and backed-up power.

Ownership
100%

The same senior engineer is your point of contact for every site. No junior handoffs. No ticket queue. No escalation chain.

Career aggregate. The 20+ years and 300+ sites span the operator’s full network-only practice, including prior-employer engagements. 99.99% availability, about 53 minutes of downtime per year, is an architecture design target for engagements that fund full redundancy. It is not a service guarantee or uptime SLA. Contracted response times and service levels are defined in each customer agreement.

Why Choose a Fortinet-Specialty MSP

Fortinet expertise as the entire architecture, not a footnote.

Listing Fortinet as one of a dozen supported vendors is easy. We design on it, run it every day, and hold the Fortinet certification ourselves. Every new site gets the same build: same firewall model family, same settings, same monitoring. When something breaks at site seven, we start from the same documented baseline site two runs on.

01 · Partner

Fortinet Engage Advocate Partner

Real Fortinet partnership, not just a badge. NSE-certified engineer, partner-tier support escalation paths, vendor pricing access, and the kind of depth that comes from doing Fortinet work as the primary practice rather than an option among many.

02 · Standardized

One Architecture, Every Site

A FortiGate firewall at every site, configured the same way and managed from one console. Where we also run the switches (what everything plugs into) and the Wi-Fi radios on the ceiling, those are FortiSwitch and FortiAP so the whole site shows up in one place. We compare every site against its approved configuration and chase down any difference we cannot explain.

03 · Multi-Site by Design

Built to Run Many Sites as One Network

Multi-site work is the whole practice, not an add-on. SD-WAN (two internet lines per site, the best one chosen automatically), one set of firewall rules pushed to every location, a saved copy of every device’s settings so any change can be undone and shown to an auditor. Adding a site becomes a documented procedure measured in hours, not weeks of guesswork.

04 · Audit-Ready

Audit-Ready Configuration Evidence

Every config change captured in version control, every site’s posture documented, every audit cycle straightforward. HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and increasingly state-level privacy compliance. Configuration backups for every site are ready for your auditor on request.

Fortinet Practice Areas

What managed Fortinet operations look like.

Concrete deliverables across the Fortinet platform. Engage on a subset or take the whole stack.

Managed FortiGate Firewalls

The firewall is the box between each office and the internet that decides what gets in and out. We install it, write the rules and keep every site’s rules identical. That includes the encrypted tunnels between offices (site-to-site VPN), SD-WAN failover between internet lines, and attack inspection (IPS) tuned so it blocks threats without blocking work. Fleets past about ten sites are managed from FortiManager, Fortinet’s central console. Alerts and device checks run through our network monitoring.

FortiAP Wireless Operations

Standardized FortiAP wireless across multi-site fleets. SSID standards, RADIUS integration, wireless intrusion prevention, captive portal where required, and the kind of consistent guest-network posture that does not embarrass you during audits.

FortiSwitch Switching Operations

Where the switching layer is owned: FortiSwitch deployment with FortiLink integration to FortiGate, VLAN standards across sites, dynamic port profiles, and the kind of edge consistency that means a switch swap is a documented procedure, not a multi-hour outage.

SD-WAN at Scale

FortiGate SD-WAN (two or more internet lines per site, best path chosen per application automatically) across multi-site environments. ISP failover, application steering by SLA, hub-and-spoke or full-mesh topologies, and the path performance monitoring that catches degraded links before users notice. Particularly valuable for organizations migrating off MPLS. As a fixed-fee project: $7,500 for the hub plus $1,750 per spoke site, on the SD-WAN migration page.

FortiAnalyzer / FortiSIEM Logging

Centralized log collection, retention to compliance requirements, threat detection workflows, and reporting auditors can actually use. We operate the log platform alongside the firewalls so the entire detection stack stays coherent.

Network Risk Assessment

The entry point: we review your current network end-to-end, Fortinet or not, and hand you a written report: where settings have drifted apart between sites, what is exposed, what an auditor would flag, and a 30-60-90 day plan. $3,500 for a single small site, prepaid; larger networks are priced on the assessment pricing page. See a sample report (PDF). Yours to keep whether or not you continue with us.

Where We Work

A Fortinet MSP for the whole U.S.

Day-to-day work on a Fortinet fleet is done remotely, from one console, for every site at once. We work with multi-site organizations across the U.S.; local networks start on the Sacramento Fortinet MSP page or the Fortinet MSP in San Francisco page. On-site visits are scheduled when the work needs hands on the hardware: a site cutover, a hardware refresh, a large redesign. Branches with no IT staff can add an Opengear OM1300 cellular console server for out-of-band management, a second path to the FortiGate when a change or a dead circuit cuts off normal remote access. Monitoring runs automatically; a human responds Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific.

Sacramento San Francisco San Jose Bay Area California U.S. Nationwide (remote)

For California-headquartered clients, we offer combined on-site and remote operations. For clients outside California, fully-remote network operations with documented runbooks for on-site hands when required (typical: site cutover, hardware refresh, physical work that benefits from same-day touch).

Our Approach

Practical and transparent.

No mystery. No black box. Every step is documented, explained, and approved before execution.

01 · Assess

See Exactly Where You Stand

A Network Risk Assessment of your current network at a fixed price, prepaid, with part or all of it credited if you sign an Edge plan or Edge Firewall Managed within 60 days of the readout, so you know what it costs before you say yes. Every firewall’s settings reviewed, segmentation checked so a problem on one network lane can’t reach the others, and gaps written down in priority order.

02 · Stabilize & Secure

Fix What Is Broken. Standardize What Is Not.

Address critical risks first, then build toward a standardized architecture. Every change documented, tested, and scheduled with a rollback plan. You can do the critical fixes with us and nothing else. That is fine. Per-site options: a like-for-like FortiGate swap is $2,500 fixed (one firewall up to the 90-series class); a firewall migration (another vendor, or a design change) starts at $6,500 per firewall. Moving remote users off SSL-VPN to IPsec or ZTNA is included in a migration; on its own it is quoted after a short review of your users, rules and applications.

03 · Operate & Improve

Your Network Gets Better Over Time

Every device and link checked every minute, alerts to your Slack or Teams, every change recorded so it can be undone, and a quarterly review of what to fix next. Automated monitoring, human response Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific. Edge Multi-Site $2,495 per month for the first site, $995 per additional site, on a 12-, 24- or 36-month term; give notice in the first 90 days and you leave 30 days later with no termination fee. The cost guide compares per-site vs per-firewall pricing. The network does not just work today — it keeps up as you add sites.

Your Engineer

Network-only. Every engagement.

Across every site, one senior network engineer is your point of contact, from assessment through ongoing operations, and knows each location’s firewall, circuits and compliance requirements. You are never passed between rotating technicians or dropped into a ticket queue.

Best-Fit Multi-Site Operations

Where Fortinet-on-every-site delivers the strongest outcomes.

The Fortinet-standardized practice fits best when network reliability is an operational requirement (not a nice-to-have), and compliance scrutiny is real. These are the multi-site shapes we deliver the strongest outcomes for.

Healthcare & Multi-Clinic Practices

HIPAA-aligned network segmentation, EHR uptime, secure remote access for clinicians, patient-data network isolation across multi-site clinical practices. From independent specialty practices to multi-clinic networks — we keep the network out of the way of patient care. Recurring medical plans run through your MSP: see HIPAA managed network.

Legal Firms

Confidential client data, secure document management network paths, and the kind of compliance posture client security questionnaires actually scrutinize. We operate the network behind the scenes so it does not become a liability surface.

Financial Services & Fintech

PCI-DSS aligned network controls, audit-ready evidence, separation of cardholder data networks, and the kind of architecture documentation regulators and auditors expect. From regional credit unions to growth-stage fintech.

Multi-Site Operations

If you run two or more locations — or a regional or national footprint from a single HQ — we build every site the same way. Same vendor, same settings, same monitoring. An outage at any site gets diagnosed against the same documented baseline, and opening a new location follows a written procedure.

Professional Services Firms

Architecture firms, engineering consultancies, accounting practices, and similar professional services where the network has to be reliable but the firm is too small to justify a full-time network engineer. We function as the network engineering function, on retainer.

Manufacturing & Logistics

Networks supporting OT (operational technology), production lines, warehouse management, and logistics flow. Outages translate directly to lost throughput. We build these networks so operations teams can take uptime for granted.

✓ Good Fit

  • Multi-site organizations operating two or more locations on Fortinet (or migrating to Fortinet)
  • Regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, similar)
  • Organizations whose operations cannot tolerate unplanned downtime
  • Teams that want direct access to a senior engineer — not a help desk
  • Companies with an internal IT person who needs a network specialist on call
  • Organizations that already have an MSP and want to keep it — we run the network layer alongside them (co-managed)

× Not a Fit

  • Single-employee businesses needing general IT support (printers, email, desktops)
  • Organizations whose primary need is help desk, software, or device management
  • Buyers choosing on price alone
  • Organizations that want a network vendor they never hear from

FAQ

Common Fortinet-MSP questions.

Why Fortinet specifically and not Cisco / Palo Alto / Meraki?

Three reasons. Platform consolidation: Fortinet’s SD-WAN, secure remote access, authentication, and Wi-Fi all integrate natively in one console — replacing 3–5 stitched-together tools. Per-site economics: FortiGate gives mid-market multi-site operations enterprise-grade security without enterprise per-user pricing. Operational depth: standardizing the practice lets us build muscle memory in one platform that benefits every client. We can work in Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki environments — we just don’t recommend them as new-build standards.

Do you handle FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer at scale?

Yes. If you run more than about ten sites, FortiManager (one console that pushes rules and settings to every firewall) and FortiAnalyzer (one place for logs and reports) are the right tools. We install them, tie them to your login system, write the backup-and-recovery procedure, and run them day to day. For smaller fleets we manage each device directly and save a copy of every configuration automatically, so any change can be undone.

We’re migrating from another vendor — how does that work?

Example migration: SonicWall to FortiGate, Meraki MX to FortiGate, or legacy MPLS to Fortinet SD-WAN. Per-site firewall migration starts at $6,500 for FortiGate 90-series and smaller and $8,900 for 100F–200F or an HA pair, with the fixed fee set by the assessment (see firewall migration services). Each migration follows a documented path: assessment, configuration translation, parallel deployment, scheduled cutover with rollback plan, and post-cutover validation. Site-by-site cutovers minimize blast radius. Typical multi-site migration completes in 2–6 months depending on site count.

What does engagement typically cost?

Ongoing managed Fortinet operations follow the published Edge Multi-Site plan: $2,495 per month for the first site and $995 per additional site, with three hours of standard changes a month pooled across sites and up to 30 managed devices per site (extra devices are quoted after scoping, because device mix varies by site). A ten-site network is $11,450 per month. Changes beyond the pooled hours bill at $225 per hour, 30-minute minimum. Monitoring runs automatically; a human responds Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific. FortiManager fleet work (firmware waves, template builds) is quoted as a fixed-price project. The Network Risk Assessment is $3,500 for a single small site: one firewall, up to three switch groups (a stack counts as one), 100 connected devices and 6 access points. Larger networks are priced by size on our assessment pricing page. Real numbers come out of the assessment.

Do you handle Fortinet license procurement?

Yes — and this is one place the Fortinet partnership matters. As a Fortinet Engage Advocate Partner we have direct distribution access for FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and Fortinet subscription services. License renewals, capacity upgrades, and new-site procurement happen through us with proper attribution back to your account. New-site hardware is quoted by exact part number through our Fortinet reseller page; see FortiGate models and reference prices.

How does this handle SOC 2 / HIPAA / PCI-DSS audit cycles?

Fortinet-standardized multi-site operations make audit cycles straightforward. Centralized policy, configuration backups per site and change history per device, ready for your auditor. A full audit evidence pack is a separate add-on ($1,500 build + $150/month refresh). We do not perform audits ourselves — we operate the network with the documentation discipline that makes the network-controls portion of audits uneventful. For clinics, the HIPAA network engineering page lists the network controls and evidence we document.

Start the Fortinet Engagement

Start with a Network Risk Assessment.
It is yours to keep.

We review your current network (Fortinet or otherwise) end-to-end and deliver a written report, a diagram, and a 30-60-90 day plan: what is exposed, where settings have drifted between sites, and the path to a standard Fortinet build if you want one. The report is yours whether or not you continue with us. $3,500 for a single small site; larger networks are priced on the assessment pricing page. See a sample report (PDF). If you already know you want the fleet run, the Multi-Site plan starts at $2,495 per month for the first site.
