Is the assessment really required?
Yes. Every engagement begins with a Network Risk Assessment. Without it, any work would be guesswork — and we do not guess. The assessment gives both of us the clarity to make informed decisions. If you continue to an ongoing engagement, the assessment cost applies toward your first month.
What if we just need a one-time project, not ongoing support?
That starts with the same assessment. From there, we scope Phases 2 and 3 (Architecture & Implementation) as a defined project with clear deliverables, timelines, and a fixed cost. Ongoing operations are optional — but most clients choose to continue once they see the difference.
How quickly do you respond when something breaks?
Response windows depend on your tier — from next-business-day on Edge Essential to priority with after-hours escalation on Edge Compliance and Multi-Site. Critical incidents on ownership retainers are routed directly to your named senior engineer.
What happens if our needs change and we need to move tiers?
Tiers are designed to scale with you. Up-tier any time with 30 days notice — the previous month's work rolls into the new plan. Down-tier requires a quick architecture review to make sure the lighter level still covers your risk posture.
Do you work with our existing IT team or replace them?
Both models work. We partner with internal IT teams that need senior network expertise they don't have on staff, and we operate as the network function for organizations that don't. The Edge plans are built for partnership; the Ownership retainers (especially Embedded Authority) are built for full coverage.
