Cambium Network Rescue · Support

Cambium support now.
The official routes, who owns your gear, and independent help.

Updated 2026-10-19

Cambium Networks Limited has been in UK administration (a UK insolvency process) since 2026-09-14. Airspan bought some product lines; Univastu completed its purchase of ePMP, the Enterprise business and cnMaestro on 2026-10-14, and has not published support terms yet. So a simple question, who do I call, has a messy answer. This page gives you the official Cambium routes first, then which vendor path applies to each product line, then what an independent engineer can and can’t do for you. Enterprise Wi-Fi, cnMatrix switches and NSE come first because that is where an independent network engineer can do the most. For ePMP and PMP (Cambium’s outdoor point-to-multipoint radios) we work on the network side only, and we say so. Help is priced on this page: $225/hr remote, or a network audit at $1,250 per site.

Independent. Ambio Edge Networks is an independent network engineering firm. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a partner of Cambium Networks, Airspan Networks, Univastu or the administrators (RSM UK). Product names are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify the equipment we work on.

Status as of 2026-10-19

Four facts that decide who supports your gear.

2026-09-14
Administration

Cambium Networks Limited entered UK administration; RSM UK Restructuring Advisory appointed (SEC Form 8-K).

2026-09-22
Airspan

Airspan bought PMP 450, PTP 670/700/450i/450V, cnWave, cnReach, LINKPlanner, cnHeat and the defense business, and says it has assumed warranty and support for them.

2026-10-14
Univastu

Univastu completed its purchase of ePMP, the Enterprise business (Wi-Fi, cnMatrix) and cnMaestro; Cambium runs as a standalone Univastu subsidiary. Neither announcement says how support, existing warranties or Cambium Care will be handled (Cambium announcement, 2026-10-15).

End of October
One cutover

Airspan moves its lines to a new support system “by the end of October”. For the Univastu lines, Cambium now says cnMaestro Cloud “will continue to operate on a go-forward basis” (2026-10-15).

The Cambium status page showed all components operational on 2026-10-11. Background on the administration and the full timeline: Cambium Networks administration: what owners do now. Product-by-product ownership: Airspan and Cambium: who owns each product line.

Cambium support phone, portal and tickets

Can I still open a Cambium support ticket?

Yes. The official routes were still published on 2026-10-11. Use them first: a ticket number is your record if a warranty or contract question comes up later.

Portal

Cambium Support Center

Open tickets at support.cambiumnetworks.com with your Cambium single sign-on account. The contact page also says a free account can be registered.

Phone

Hours

9–5 weekdays, longer hours with Cambium Care

Cambium publishes standard support as business hours, 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday. Cambium Care customers are listed with round-the-clock hours. Those are Cambium’s published hours, not a promise anyone will answer under the new owner.

Reality

What operators report

In Cambium Community thread 109057 (2026-10-05) an operator reported two cnMaestro tickets open since 2026-09-22 with only automated replies. Thread 108849 (post 184, 2026-09-30) has a similar report. These are operator reports, not an official statement.

Getting a faster answer: put the serial number, firmware version, product line and the exact error text in the first message, and attach a tech-support file if the device produces one. If the issue is a configuration or network problem rather than a defect, you don’t need the manufacturer to fix it.

By product line

Which vendor support path applies to your gear.

Pick per product line, not per company. If you run more than one Cambium product family, you can land in two or three of these rows.

Enterprise Wi-Fi, cnMatrix, NSE

Cambium Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE support: what to do this month.

These are the Enterprise lines. Univastu bought the Enterprise business (whether NSE is included is unconfirmed) and hasn’t said how support will work yet. They are also the ones that lean hardest on cnMaestro Cloud, Cambium’s hosted management dashboard. The access points and switches keep passing traffic without it; what you lose is central control.

cnMaestro Cloud: continuing, terms unpublished

Cambium’s 2026-09-23 statement committed cnMaestro Cloud “through at least October 2026”. After Univastu’s purchase, Cambium said on 2026-10-15 that cnMaestro Cloud “will continue to operate on a go-forward basis.” It has not published an end date or service terms, or withdrawn in writing its earlier warning (thread 108849) that the cloud “may not support Enterprise devices post the end of October, 2026.” Your options: your four cnMaestro options.

Keep an on-prem fallback ready

cnMaestro On-Premises can run on hardware you own. Cambium’s own migration steps need the cloud, and the Cloud Anchor (the Cambium service an on-premises server still checks in with), to be reachable, so do this while they are up. Step by step: cnMaestro on premises migration.

NSE has its own path

NSE (Cambium’s Network Service Edge gateway) is not supported in cnMaestro On-Premises. Cambium released an NSE 2.5 beta for NSE 3000/4000 with a local web interface (thread 108960, updated 2026-10-08). Read the thread before you rely on it.

Plan the replacement, don’t panic-buy

Access points and switches keep passing traffic without a controller. Replace on a budget cycle. Where FortiGate and FortiAP fit, we design and run the move as a Fortinet Engage Partner (Advocate tier), a Sacramento Fortinet MSP and Fortinet MSP in San Francisco. That is a Fortinet relationship, not a Cambium one.

ePMP and PMP

ePMP support and PMP 450: network side only.

We don’t do RF (the radio side: signal strength, antennas, spectrum). If your problem is a link budget, interference, alignment or a tower, you need an RF specialist or a field installer, and we will tell you that on the first call.

ePMP

Univastu completed its purchase of ePMP on 2026-10-14. Vendor support is still Cambium’s current process; no new terms are published as of 2026-10-19. Operators in thread 109057 asked specifically about cnMaestro support for ePMP and got no staff answer. Keep your configs and firmware in your own archive: Cambium firmware download and license keys: what to save.

PMP 450 and PTP 670/700

Airspan owns these lines and says existing service contracts continue. Airspan also says “There is no plan to discontinue cnMaestro.” Cambium kept the cnMaestro software and licensed it to Airspan (8-K filed 2026-09-28).

Spares

RCR Wireless’s advice to WISPs (2026-09-23) was to buy spares and prioritize access points over subscriber modules. Base the count on your own failure history, not a rule of thumb.

Where we help

The network behind the radios: VLANs (separate lanes that keep traffic in one part of the network from spilling into the rest), routing, DHCP, firewall, SNMP monitoring of the radios (standard polling that needs no vendor cloud), controller and configuration work, documentation, and replacement planning. Remote anywhere in the US; on site in Sacramento and the Bay Area. $225/hr remote, 1-hour minimum; rates.

Licensed microwave

PTP 820 and PTP 850 support.

Airspan did not buy the PTP 820/850 licensed-microwave line (who owns each Cambium product line). Its FAQ says: “We are in discussions with the OEM supplier of the PTP 820/850 for Cambium. Our objective is to reach an agreement that enables us to sell and support licensed microwave solutions.” Nothing had been announced as of 2026-10-11. Until something is, use Cambium’s current process, ask the distributor that sold you the links, and save each radio’s configuration and licence details now. We can monitor the links and handle the network around them; we don’t do microwave path engineering.

Cambium Care and cnMaestro X

Can I renew Cambium Care or a cnMaestro X subscription?

Airspan-owned lines

Airspan says Cambium Care, cnMaestro X, extended warranty and advance-replacement contracts continue for the products it bought. Ask for renewals through the current Cambium process or info@airspan.com.

Everything else

As of 2026-10-19, Univastu hasn’t published renewal, Cambium Care or warranty terms for ePMP, Wi-Fi or cnMatrix (or NSE, if it was included). An operator in thread 109051 (post 35, 2026-10-08) asked whether anyone was still at Cambium to extend a trial or sell month to month. Don’t prepay for a long term until it does.

Mixed accounts

If one cnMaestro account holds Airspan-owned and ePMP or Wi-Fi devices, Airspan says it “can only commit to supporting the products that have been acquired by Airspan.” Treat the two halves as separate support problems.

Money you already paid

Questions about prepaid contracts or amounts owed go to the administrators: Cambium.restructuring@rsmuk.com. We can’t give legal or creditor advice.

Warranty and RMA

Cambium warranty and RMA: the published terms.

An RMA is a manufacturer-authorized return of a failed unit for repair or replacement. From Cambium’s warranty page on 2026-10-11:

What the terms say

  • One year from the date of original purchase by the first end user.
  • Not transferable: the warranty ends when the hardware changes owner. Used gear bought second-hand has none.
  • Extended Warranty and All Risks Advance Replacement can take coverage up to five years in total.
  • Advance replacement ships from Cambium after a confirmed RMA.

What nobody has said

  • Whether RMAs for ePMP, Wi-Fi and cnMatrix (and NSE, if it was included) are being processed under the new owner.
  • How existing warranties will be handled under Univastu; neither acquisition announcement says, and NSE inclusion is unconfirmed.

For Airspan-owned lines (PMP 450, PTP 670/700/450i/450V, cnWave, cnReach) the question is answered: Airspan says it has assumed all warranty and support commitments. Do now: list serial numbers and purchase dates, keep proof of purchase, open RMAs for anything already failing, and ask your distributor how it is handling returns. We can’t open or process RMAs for you.

Cambium third-party support

Independent Cambium support: what we can and can’t do.

Third-party (or “3rd party”) support for Cambium gear means engineering help, not the things only the manufacturer can grant: licences, warranty, replacement units, firmware. Here is the line.

We can

  • Troubleshoot and change controller and device configuration on Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE.
  • Network-side work around ePMP, PMP and PTP: VLANs, routing, DHCP, SNMP, firewall.
  • Stand up cnMaestro On-Premises on hardware you own: your existing hypervisor, or a mini PC we source at cost + 15% that you own.
  • Document the estate and help you save configs, licence records and your own firmware archive.
  • Monitor Cambium equipment over SNMP, independent of any vendor cloud.
  • Plan and run replacement on your budget cycle.
  • Work on site in Sacramento and the Bay Area; remote anywhere in the US.

We can’t

  • Issue, transfer or renew Cambium licences, cnMaestro X subscriptions or Cambium Care.
  • Process RMAs or honor warranties.
  • Supply firmware. You pull it from your own account.
  • Sell spares or advance replacement. We are not a hardware-maintenance depot.
  • RF path and frequency planning, alignment, or tower work.
  • Fix Cambium’s cloud or Cloud Anchor services.
  • Offer after-hours response.

Engineering work in the left column bills at the published hourly rates or as the $1,250-per-site audit; anything expected to run over 2 hours gets a written estimate before work starts. Rates.

How to engage

Rates, published.

Business hours Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM Pacific. We reply within one business day. Already have an IT provider? Keep them. We do the network layer alongside, and the documentation goes to you, not to us.

Hourly

$225/hr, remote

Troubleshooting, configuration and network-side work. 1-hour minimum, 15-minute increments. Anything expected to run over 2 hours gets a written estimate before work starts.

Specialized

$325/hr for migration work

cnMaestro On-Premises stand-up, migrations and replacement design. Written estimate first. Same-day emergency work during business hours is +50%, 2-hour minimum.

Audit

Network audit and documentation, $1,250 per site

A map of what is installed, an inventory with end-of-support dates, a configuration export and a port/VLAN map, yours to keep. It is the record you need before you decide what to migrate, monitor or replace. What the audit includes. If you want ranked findings and a 30-60-90 plan as well, that is the Network Risk Assessment, priced by site size on the assessment pricing page.

Monitor

Continuity Monitoring for Cambium equipment, from $497/month

Scope and onboarding quoted after an inventory; the $1,250 audit produces that inventory if you don’t already have one. Monitoring only: alerts route to your team, no changes included, no engineer response target; any work bills at the hourly rate. How the monitoring works.

On site: 3-hour minimum per visit, plus a $250 truck-roll fee beyond 25 miles of Sacramento and mileage at the IRS rate.

FAQ

Cambium support questions, answered straight.

Does Cambium support still work?

As of 2026-10-11 Cambium still lists its support routes: the Support Center at support.cambiumnetworks.com and the US/Canada toll-free line +1-888-863-5250. Its published hours are 9am–5pm Monday–Friday for standard support and round-the-clock for Cambium Care customers. Operators in Cambium Community thread 109057 (2026-10-05) report tickets open since late September with only automated replies. Open the ticket anyway so there is a record, and plan as if the answer may be slow.

Who supports ePMP now?

Airspan says ePMP was not part of its purchase and points ePMP owners to Cambium Networks. Univastu completed its purchase of ePMP, with the Enterprise business and cnMaestro, on 2026-10-14, and Cambium now runs as a standalone Univastu subsidiary. The vendor route for ePMP is still Cambium’s normal support process; no new support or warranty terms are published as of 2026-10-19. Independent engineers, including us, can help on the network side: controller, configuration, VLANs, routing, DHCP and SNMP monitoring.

Is there third-party support for Cambium equipment?

Yes, for engineering work. An independent engineer can troubleshoot, document, monitor and migrate a Cambium network. What a third party can’t give you is anything only the manufacturer controls: licences, RMAs, warranty, firmware entitlements or the Cloud Anchor. We are not a hardware-maintenance company and don’t stock Cambium spares. Our rates are published: $225/hr remote, or a network audit at $1,250 per site.

Can I still renew Cambium Care?

For the product lines Airspan bought, Airspan says Cambium Care, cnMaestro X, extended warranty and advance-replacement contracts continue; ask through the current Cambium support process or info@airspan.com. For ePMP and enterprise products, Univastu, which bought them on 2026-10-14, has not published renewal or warranty terms as of 2026-10-19. An operator in Cambium Community thread 109051 (2026-10-08) asked whether anyone was still at Cambium to extend a trial or sell month to month. Questions about money you have already prepaid go to the administrators at Cambium.restructuring@rsmuk.com.

Will my warranty or RMA be honored?

Cambium’s published warranty is one year from the first end user’s purchase, not transferable, and extendable to five years in total. For the lines Airspan bought, Airspan says it has assumed all warranty and support commitments. For ePMP and the Enterprise lines, neither acquisition announcement says how existing warranties will be handled under Univastu. Log RMAs now, keep proof of purchase and serial numbers, and ask your distributor how it is handling returns.

Who do I call for PTP 820 support?

Start with Cambium’s normal support process and the distributor that sold you the link. Airspan did not buy PTP 820/850. It says it is in discussions with the OEM supplier of those products, with the aim of selling and supporting them. Nothing had been announced as of 2026-10-11.

I have Airspan-owned and ePMP or Wi-Fi devices in one cnMaestro account. Who supports that?

Airspan’s answer in its FAQ (version 6, 2026-10-05) is that it can only commit to supporting the products it acquired. The ePMP and enterprise devices in the same account stay on the Cambium side. Plan the two halves separately, and save the configuration for both now.

Do I need a Cambium partner to migrate cnMaestro?

No. Cambium’s migration guidance in Cambium Community thread 108849 is written for customers to follow themselves. Some estates want help with the order of steps, overrides and repointing; our cnMaestro on-premises migration runbook covers them.

Is Ambio a Cambium partner?

No. Ambio Edge Networks is independent. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a partner of Cambium Networks, Airspan Networks, Univastu or the administrators.
